ReactPlay Insights #04
Concluding Hack-R-Play with new milestones, amazing projects, big achievements, and plans for the next big thing
We're thrilled to announce the resounding success of Hack-R-Play 2.0, which concluded with an electrifying demo day on August 21st at 8:30 pm IST. The event witnessed an incredible showcase of innovation, collaboration, and the spirit of open-source hacking. We were truly amazed by the ingenious solutions presented by the participating hackers.
The Demo Day 🎭
The highlight of the event was the Demo Day, where 10 talented hackers took the virtual stage to present their remarkable hacks in front of a panel of distinguished judges. The enthusiasm and dedication of each participant were palpable as they demonstrated their creations that spanned across various domains of technology.
You can watch the recording of the demo day here 📽👇
…and the winners are 🏆
After much deliberation, we're excited to congratulate Manikanta and Vasanth for emerging as the champions of the hackathon! Their winning creation, the "Campus Reuse Hub," captivated the judges with its innovative approach towards sustainable living and resource optimization.
Runner ups 🥈
It was very difficult to finalize one winner from the 10 amazing projects. Hence we are declaring two runner-ups, which were slightly behind the winner, and could have easily won the hackathon!
A big shoutout to Ashrrith, who secured the first runner-up prize with his "Animal Help App." His creation aims to bridge the gap between animal welfare organizations and individuals willing to contribute to the welfare of our furry friends.
Additionally, kudos to Debjit, our second runner-up, for his "Donation Diary," a novel way to make charitable contributions more organized and impactful.
Special Mentions 🥉
And now, let’s celebrate some outstanding projects that could not win judges’ hearts, but yet are so innovative that they deserve a special mention!
Firstly, we want to acknowledge the exceptional efforts of YoungAncient, who developed "LearnRPlay," a project that promises to revolutionize interactive learning.
Another special mention goes to Harshitha for "FlashRPlay," an innovation that adds a new dimension to immersive gaming experiences.
Thanking our sponsors — bugfender
